SIR - May I through your paper sing the praises of the unsung heroes who quietly work through the night gritting our roads so that we can journey to work in the mornings safely. I, like many people, probably take for granted that the roads will be safe to drive on. We have had a number of sharp frosts and the Ringway men have been out and about at all hours of the night ensuring our safety.
I would just like to say a big thank you to them for the work they do that greatly helps to keep us all safe, whether we are drivers of our own cars or users of public transport.
Thank you and well done.
COUNCILLOR GAYNOR AMPHLETT, Pershore Town and Wychavon District Counci.
