SIR - Referring to your comment (February 12).
The Government will soon be forced to make a cut in fuel duty. The cost of fuel has increased by 70 per cent over a year. This has forced the prices of almost everything to go up in price, forcing up inflation.
I wonder how much longer we can sustain these increases? Surely it is costing government departments and councils the same? Surely it makes sense to cut fuel duty, not increase it.
