SIR - Yet another £8,000 wasted. Depending on the question you ask, you'll get the results you want. It's only natural people don't want to pay more money to have their bins emptied.
The council says it would be between £9,000 and £29,000 to give us our weekly collection back.
So, what was all the nonsense about the fortnightly collection supposedly getting people to recycle more? We now know it's more to do with saving money.
By the way - a total of 222 of Worcester people does not work out anywhere near a cross-section of the public.
If the council works on figures like this, it's no wonder it can't work to a budget.
So stop tying to fool the public.
JOHN SHEARON, Worcester.
