SIR - I write regarding Nigel Crisp's letter (January 5). My son-in-law, has done the same things as Mr Crisp. He was made redundant 14 months ago after over 30 years working. He took three courses in computers hoping it would get him a job - but like Mr Crisp, no experience means no job and as for stopping benefits, how can something be stopped when he cannot claim a penny because his wife has got a part-time job?
It makes me so mad - if you are married and British you have not got a hope in hell. Come on, Brown, where is your loyalty, you should look on your own doorstep, before you welcome anymore immigrants in.
When I was a young girl a long time ago it was British people first. I expect Mr Brown and all his so-called government will have a happy new year. A lot different to my son-in-law and many like him.
