SIR - I am delighted to say that there is minimal disruption in Pershore due to the High Street works and that I have not had a single complaint, not by letter, phone, e-mail or in person.
This is a great relief to all, and I hope people will welcome this information and continue coming in to Pershore throughout the works. We really are worth the extra couple of minutes it takes to come to town.
Great shops, personal service, and a beautiful location all rolled into one.
I would like to think that returning visitors to the town this year, from spring onwards, will notice how great the town will look when finished, and that new visitors and local people will appreciate the new-look High Street too.
There is a way to go yet and a very close eye will continue to be kept on the project.
So far so good.
COUN GAYNOR AMPHLETT, Pershore Town and District Council.
