SIR - We would like to place on record oor very grateful thanks to all the people who helped us on Friday, January 11, when we became trapped in a flash flood in Pulley Lane, near Oddingley.
As my husband is disabled and partially sighted. We were very firghtened.
However, as the fire brigade arrived they pushed us out of the flood, by this time eight inches deep in the car, and restored our confidence.
Then, Gareth from Worcester RAC came and took us to a place where we could get a warm drink and stayed with us to make sure the next journey was all in hand.
He left just as Alan from Eriksons recovery came who then brought us right home.
All those involved have our most grateful thanks for the way they treated us - two OAPs - with such respect.
Our thanks also to two gentlemen who stopped to see if they could help.
EILEEN AND MAURICE WALTON, Halesowen
