SIR - I see someone is having a go at Jean Lewis, the pensioner aged 77, who was enraged to discover that Worcester buses were operating on a reduced timetable on New Year's Eve (worcesternews.co.uk).
Whoever it is signed off as disbelief'.
They said she's complaining about something she didn't have to pay for with her bus pass. Well, disbelief, I would say Mrs Lewis has paid for her bus pass many times over, and like all elderly people should be given a little concession now and again.
JOHN SHEARON, Worcester
