SIR - What a way to run a railway! My wife wanted to visit her sister in Malvern.
She went to Foregate Street and the booking office was closed. There was an automatic machine, but this was out of order.
There was also a machine for a travel permit and this was bunged up. There was no one around to help.
So, she left the station and caught a bus instead - but she had to alter the time of her visit because her last bus home was 7pm.
So, I think the train service from Worcester wants looking at seriously, as well as the bus service.
How could anyone book up at the theatre in Malvern with services like this? It must be costing Malvern a lot of money.
JOHN SHEARON, Worcester.
