SIR - We should be glad that the EU is giving the rest of the world such a clear lead in addressing climate change.
The message may not yet be getting through to China, as Stanley Parr clearly points out (Letters, September 25), but it is at long last reaching Downing Street.
Even Mr Brown is now trying to be green.
