SIR - So now we see in St Clement's - a ward that possibly has the highest number of pensioners living in sheltered accommodation, where the Worcester election fever is based upon Mike Foster MP and Jenny Barnes now a city councilor - concerns for bin collections.
Not the continuing Government cuts in older people's services, or the Government cuts resulting in the stopping of the freshly cooked meals prepared on site in extra sheltered care homes.
We have a situation on our hands where our children are implored by government to eat healthy school meals prepared on site, but for our pensioners their meals currently prepared on-site are to be substituted for either frozen meals, or WRVS meals on wheels.
So it's right for our kids but not our vulnerable grandparents?
BRIAN HUNT, Worcester.
