SIR - I write with reference to the letter (Worcester News, September 17) from Alan Bishop, regarding the cars for sale in Norton Road/Broomhall Green not inconveniencing anyone as there is very little traffic down Norton Road.
My elderly mother lives in that area, along with quite a few other households.
When she gets cars for sale parked on both sides of the road, often on the pavement, not only can she not get her wheelchair past them but also a couple of months ago she had to have an emergency ambulance which could not get to her house.
Mr Bishop needs to get his facts right before bleating on about the poor bloke trying to make a few bob out of his cars.
Does he pay business rates, VAT or income tax on the vehicles he sells?
No, he is doing no more than stealing services from the council which we, including you Mr Bishop, pay towards.
KIERON CLARKE, Worcester.
