SIR - Worcester isn't the only town losing a purpose-built post office site to WHSmith.
Hanley, the main commercial and retail centre in Stoke-on-Trent, also faces relocation of postal services to WHSmith; this will be awkward and inaccessible to many customers.
After hundreds of sub-post office closures and losing an £8 million Amazon contract recently, the potential loss of over-the-counter business will further damage the reputation and finance of the organisation. Council business rates are not helpful either.
