SIR - Another so-called consultation process has been seen to be totally meaningless with the foregone conclusion from the Post Office.
However, perhaps there is a slight advantage - maybe the new owners of the old post office building will keep the front clean and tidy and not let it add to the dilapidated appearance of that section of the Foregate and bridge.
The underneath of the bridge by the bus stop is an absolute disgrace with broken frontages and seeping water turning the walls green.
However, yet another service provider - the railway - is not the least bit interested in either providing a service or maintaining its property.
Reminds me of a quote from G K Chesterton when he stayed at the Star Hotel and said the view looking down the Foregate was one of the finest in Europe.
Thanks to the railways and Post Office this is a million miles and 70 years away from the truth.
Richard Bird, Worcester.
