SIR - Since Worcester City Council seemed reluctant to oppose the quite distasteful actions by Cafe Nero chain for financial reasons, I have to wonder whether MP Mike Foster was right to question the existence of two tiers of councillors, if indeed we need any at all.
If we got rid of them there would be a big financial saving, and a dramatic drop in hot air emitting from both the Guildhall and County Hall.
