SIR - Councillor Mike Layland has a strange attitude for shaming the public over the closure of main post office in Foregate Street by saying they are too defeatist (Worcester News, June 9).
I am annoyed at his remarks. The public have done more than councillors to save our only post office, signing petitions and sending letters of protest.
It's our councillors' and MPs' job to fight these things, we have done our bit. It is like a lot more this lousy Government has done - the worst mistake was to sign power over to Brussels.
