SIR - I am starting to get a little paranoid about being watched, tracked, monitored, or possibly spied upon by the startling number of cameras viewing me.

On my regular trips to the Welsh coast I see camera after camera in towns and cities; I look up and they're there. In banks, building societies, shops you look up and - that's right, that's the bald patch on the back of your head!

If these cameras were coordinated it would seem that every move I make could be logged. If you're doing nothing wrong why should you worry?', they say. This does seem to me a little worrying, like the smile on big brother before he tells you what, where, and how to live your life.

Or is it just insecurity?
