SIR - I agree whole-heartedly with J Amos (Letters, June 6), one does not have to look too far to see some sensible demography policies.
The Channel Isles and Isles of Scilly are just two examples of limited migration and house building. Like the UK they are islands, except they have decided not to let political correctness destroy their green spaces.
Even a country such as Canada, with its vast acres of land, has a strict and lengthy migration policy.
It is not prejudice, racism or xenophobia. It is common sense.
