SIR - IT does not surprise me that the number of complaints due to patients displaying aggressive behaviour at GP practices continues to rise.
We have a major NHS crisis on our hands that is only going to get worse. People are fed up with waiting and receiving non-productive consultations. We need to remind ourselves here, that we the people have funded these services, paid for them and they are not a ‘privilege’. The government has no right to sell off what is not theirs to sell. It beggars belief the public tolerate a four to six-month wait to see a consultant. A week would be too long, but as we know the new way of dealing with stuff is to not deal with it.
If Theresa May ever triggers Article 50 to get us out of the EU, I will be truly amazed!
