Reader's Letter: It’s madness
SIR - WITH regards to comment about more care needed on the roads. I can remember three things that my examiner said in 1982 when I passed my motorcycle test. Firstly, our road network is designed and built for cars only. Secondly, nine out of ten drivers do not follow the Highway Code and thirdly, driving is a socially accepted form of madness.
