SIR - Nice to read some good news (Thursday, May 10) that despite District Judge Bruce Morgan's decision in the Metric Martyrs' fight to retain our right to continue sell in imperial measures, we have eventually won the right to do so.
It's a pity that we still have to show the equivalent weight in metric. Still, I suppose we should be thankful for small mercies.
I hope that readers will take note that my regular claim that we are now governed from Brussels not Westminster is substantiated by the fact that permission to use imperial measures has not been granted from this Government but from its masters in Brussels.
