SIR - I really hope the Government will push for ID cards. Every citizen in Britain should have one, which would entitle them to health service, housing and any other amenities we need to live.
This would stop the jokers coming into Britain in the backs of lorries, or whichever way they smuggle themselves in.
Without an ID card they wouldn't be allowed access to the health service, housing or other amenities.
So the ID card would be an access card to all these sort of things.
