SIR - Every day in the Worcester News I read about young men creating mayhem around Worcester and the local area.
Today Ledbury is "having problems", but also, I see there is a letter from B McKeon who helpfully informs us that "one in four Asbos are regularly breached" and they are not sent to prison, as the law demands.
Instead of giving them the "badge of honour" of an Asbo, may I suggest we reintroduce a period of two years National Service?
This might just take the steam out these naturally exuberant and testosterone-charged young men and channel their energies to a good cause.
It taught me how to take a pride in my appearance and our country - and it certainly took the steam out of me!
