SIR - I refer to DE Margrett's letter (Worcester News, Tuesday, May 22).
I would like to reassure him that Royal Worcester has definitely not "pulled out from the city".
We are still very much open for business and employ more than 100 people who are engaged in design, sales, marketing, customer service, retailing, visitor centre, museum and hand painting.
We remain a significant tourist attraction for the city, offering guided tours, the visitor centre, paint-a-plate sessions for adults and children, and a visit to the museum, which gives an insight into Royal Worcester's fascinating history.
We have a range of shops, Royal Worcester Bestware, Seconds and other famous brands, and the Royal Worcester cafe offers a selection of food both hot and cold food.
If Mr Margrett would like to see what we have to offer, we would be delighted to welcome him to the site.
DAVID BENJAMIN, Managing director, Royal Worcester
