SIR - The threat of climate change is almost a daily news story nowadays, appearing in the press, on TV and radio.
I don't believe that when the Worcester News offers readers a chance to win a patio heater, it is also unaware of climate change and the absolutely needless contribution patio heaters make to carbon dioxide emissions.
The UK Government's draft Climate Change Bill aims to put in place the legal framework to reduce the UK's greenhouse gas emissions and I believe that now is the time that individuals, public bodies and private companies started to do their bit.
How about running a competition to win a wind turbine or a wind-up radio instead?
