SIR - Why all the hype over the break up of the union of Great Britain? This already happened when Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland were given devolution and the regional assemblies sprang up all over England.
These assemblies are all in place for when England ceases to be a country and instead becomes several regions of the European Union.
Labour, Tory and the Lib Dems all know this, and are now trying to tell us that they are against the break up. They are responsible for it.
If they truly didn't want it, then devolution would never have happened and these regional assemblies would never have been set up. They know full well that this process cannot be reversed, unless we loosen our ties with the EU.
The local council elections were nothing more than a sham as our councils are to be abolished and replaced by these regional assemblies, being directly run from Brussels.
Why do people all keep voting for the Lib/Lab/Con-trick? If everyone switched votes to a party committed to returning this country to its rightful owners - we the people - we could change this country into a better place in which to live.
