SIR - In your sports pages (Worcester News, May 3) sports pages, I congratulate your photographer on his photograph of the young people receiving their awards for youth cricketers of the year at Worcester Nomads.
To see these young people smiling and obviously enjoying their sport gave me hope for our future.
The usual pictures we get of youngsters of this age with their hoods, hunched shoulders, lumps of tin stuck through their noses and fingers stuck up at the camera give a wrong impression of youth today. Most of the youngsters I meet on my journey through life are polite clean and helpful.
So Mr photographer, more photos like this please - we need to see the good stuff and not just the bad.
ALAN BISHOP, Worcester.
