SIR - Now that Station Road/High Street lights in Pershore are working again - 13 weeks later and unchanged from before - I thought I would venture home in the car up the High Street.
It was 9.05am - early, by most standards. Big mistake! There were three articulated lorries quite rightly delivering early to shops, but the resulting delays to traffic and the bus I was following were amazing.
We all got through - eventually - but the High Street should not be narrowed by one inch, never mind by several yards.
What comic were the planners reading when they thought this one up? If there were a bypass, it could be pedestrianised - but there isn't a bypass, so leave well alone, please.
As I said recently, this is beyond bad management; it is now plainly vindictive towards our shopkeepers.
At this rate, Pershore will become a ghost town - and none of us wants that.
Stanley D Parr, Pershore.
