Sir - The Norovirus sickness and diarrhoea bug is most unpleasant and should be avoided and prevented, at all costs.
Visiting Worcester Royal twice last week, I was astonished to see most people walking straight past the Hand Sterilising Gel bottles at the entrance and into the hospital! There are only two - it needs four!
There are clear warning notices on the parking meters - and a huge one inside the main entrance - but people sailed in and ignored it all!
Entering the hospital, we are all channelled through a single door, often four people at a time. If they are serious about stopping it, all it needs is at least two door attendants just inside, to make sure everybody uses a Gel bottle on their hands, before setting foot in the place!
People basically don't care - and prevention is better than cure!
