Sir - New bridge for Worcestershire is not on the agenda. Simon Geraghty deputy Leader for Worcestershire County Council and cabinet member for economy for skills and infrastructure, Worcester City St Clements ward councilor and County Councilor for Riverside, (which includes St Clements) has spoken.
Even when a Northern Link Road was more affordable the Tories quickly dismissed any application to Government for funding. However to address very bad planning of the Whittington Road and Bath Road roundabouts, they are pumping £Millions more into a scheme which will still funnel traffic into a two lane carrington bridge.
I Challenge Councillor Geraghty: we need a referendum on this nothern by pass issue and he has one one vote as we others.
