Sir -- The Heading WE GOT THE CUTS WRONG-COUNCIL should have read WE SERIOUSLY TRIED BUT MISJUDGED THE PENSIONERS.

And this CON-servative action by miraculously finding these £Millions are nothing but a Political Bribe / Investment for the Tories for the coming Elections.

I attended many of the Consultation meetings and like Coun Tom Wells was dumfounded to read that according to WCC just under 50% were in favor of the Tory cuts, when in fact there was a tiny support of less than 1% perhaps from loyal Tories attending. And each time the Tory Cabinet members, Dr Richard Harling, and Tory Councilor Holt, were asked what will happen to these thousands of Older and Vulnerable people without this financial Supporting People funding, NOBODY answered. NO PLAN “B”

But don’t be fooled, these cuts, apart from the following uproar, would have taken place, and will still take place after the 2015 Elections.

WE have seen the Face of the CON-servatives it is Eric Pickles and Iain Duncan Smith and his Universal Credits, and with the undying support of Local Tories are still going to attack the vulnerable and Older People.
