Sir - I like many others were appalled to read in The Daily Mailthat the EU are demanding another £2.5bn to plug a black hole in their economy, and strongly urge both The City and County Councils to ask for the money to build the New Bridge and complete the northern link from the flood relief fund.
It is about time we claimed some money back.
