I found three friends huddled round a fire
SIR – Referring to elderly and disabled people over Christmas, I found three close friends of mine huddled around their gas fire with nothing to look forward to; no gifts, no decorations, not even a card.
I’m 67 and disabled but still found time to do a bit of shopping for my friends.
