SIR - I am 71 years old and have lived in Worcester all my life.
I'm really getting fed up with the council's attitude to spending my money (council tax).
The new logo is typical of the way they think. They say, "we only spent £24,000 changing it" (Worcester News, November 30).
Any unnecessary expenditure will send my tax up yet again this year.
I already pay £17.50 per week and I can only see it spiralling out of control to the point where I cannot afford to live in my present house and will have to move into one of the pokey little flats you are allowing to be built, spoiling yet again my lovely city.
Didn't they learn anything in 1960 when the planning department allowed Lychgate to be torn down and Blackfriars market area to be passed.
I am not resistant to change, if is of benefit to the community, but the changing of the city log in these difficult cash-strapped times is irresponsible and should be abandoned.
MRS B HARRIS, Worcester.
