SIR – After reading the column in the Worcester News on October 16 by James Connell, for once I agree with him on travelling by car 100 per cent.
I travel by bus four days a week on four different companies, the most comfy and polite are Yarrantons of Erdiston and the most filthy, uncomfortable are Astons on the 417 service CrownGate to Ledbury on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays.
I drove buses myself in the 70s and always welcomed passengers on board with a smile and took abuse with a pinch of salt, so definitely James, give me a car any day, buses are so boring.
