SIR – I understand that the £665 million EU structural Fund allocation to England is to be misappropriated by the British Government to give to Scotland.
I think that the additional £1,600 that each Scot gets under the Barnett Formula would be enough to ensure their no vote without this further massive bribe.
I wonder if Worcestershire’s impending £3 million cuts to public services is a donation to this cause.
We have yet to hear a whisper from our patriotic Worcestershire MPs on this unsavoury sleight of hand.
Scotland certainly proves what can be achieved by having a government that represents Scottish interests rather than a government like the British one that exploits an unrepresented England.
