SIR – I praise the Worcester News for highlighting the problem of vandalism in St John’s.
As a long-term resident living in the St John’s area, I am very much aware of the problems local residents have with certain students.
Local people dread the start of the new college term in September.
Our peaceful neighbourhood is turned into a no man’s land of broken glass, vomit, loud music, shouting, swearing and mindless vandalism.
All of which do not happen between the end of May to the end of August.
Why is this? What’s changed? Worcester News, please keep reporting this behaviour so other areas of Worcester can make up their minds who the culprits are.
