SIR – Regarding the cull on badgers – they are being blamed for a TB outbreak in cattle – when it may not be badgers at all.
But the farmers have gone gun-happy in shooting them in thousands which will continue until they are all wiped out, which is so sad.
I am waiting to see if they get another outbreak of TB in cattle in 12 months, will farmers blame the fox or wild deer? Why is it farmers don’t get their cattle injected?
Sadly our wildlife is getting more extinct. Are farmers as fussy as they should be?
