SIR – Two weeks ago Worcester City Council’s cabinet voted to give away a part of the city to Worcestershire County Council.
Only a quarter of an acre, but this sets a precedent and if they are allowed to get away with it, who knows what else they will give away?
I thought local councillors were there to make sure the bins are collected and not to over-ride local opinion.
This decision was taken despite there being over 100 objections to the proposal, and they did not even know why the land next to the Ketch roundabout was required.
Is there a lawyer out there who would be willing to assist the residents to overturn this contentious decision?
