SIR – Re the biplane seen flying round the Vale of Evesham (Worcester News, August 2).
These aircraft are mainly used for display purposes at airshows to practise various routines.
They are not cheap to operate and have to conform to Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
Such displays bring a great deal of pleasure to thousands of people.
They also help to raise money from these shows for many worthy causes.
I think, therefore, we might take a more charitable view of such flying – in other words, ‘live and let live’.
