SIR – It would be nice to see the Victorian façade of Shrub Hill station and have the panoramic view of Worcester as it used to be, but it has been obliterated by that depressing eyesore of a building Elgar House – one of the first of many square blocks by the cathedral, Deansway and Newport Street. Sir Edward Elgar should have had his name on the library and museum in Foregate Street – an architectural gem.
Perhaps the lottery would make a donation to have it demolished.
