SIR – It was with great sadness that I read the report about fly tipping in Barrels Bridge Lane in Peopleton (Worcester News, April 13).
This is an area of rural idyllic nature. I can only wish them well in getting this removed and putting things back to normal.
It is such a lovely area and holds many memories for me.
During the summer holidays it was great meeting up with all the kids in the village – the Tarrans, Fosters and Baxters to name a few.
We had bottles of water and jam sandwiches for dinner.
We spent many hours spent in the Bowbrook swimming and trying to catch the tiddlers by the bridge. Those were the days.I wish them well.
