SIR – Re the Clean It Up campaign regarding dog poo which you ran in the Worcester News last week.
Dog mess is not the fault of the dogs.
Everyone seems to blame them but it’s the owners who are at fault.
I use wipes to clean up my dog’s mess and then put the waste in nice-smelling bags – the same ones that we use for our baby grandsons.
We then dispose of it in the right bins, too, and then wipe or sterilise our hands.
It’s amazing how many inconsiderate people out there who don’t do any of this.
They get away with it and then we all get the blame for them.It really does annoy me.
Dogs are dogs and are part of the family. They should be looked after properly.
Where else are they going to do it – in the loo?
The answer is that all owners should be taught to clean up properly and not look fed up when their dog has done its business outside and on view.
It only takes a minute to clean up after your dog.
