SIR – We attended the presentation of the proposed new football stadium for the use of Worcester City FC to be built on Perdiswell Park, near the leisure centre.
We have to say that the proposal and plans shown would be a great asset for the community as a whole with, alongside the stadium, the provision of an allweather pitch and several other pitches for the use of all Worcester residents.
It would be a wonderful facility.
We must praise the Worcester City FC Trust committee members for their fortitude in pushing through these plans and hope that the people of Worcester will take this opportunity to support this venture.
This city deserves a community sports complex, open for everyone to use.
