SIR – I felt sorry for Tony Wilmore he was held up in traffic outside the Farmer’s Boy in Worcester (Worcester News, March 21).
He should have gone on the right hand side of the bollard like others do, breaking the law. But he has got it wrong about the crossing in the middle of the road as the crossing was there a long time ago. The reason for the holdups is because the bus stop has been pulled back so a road could be made to the entrance of the pub and the houses behind the pub.
There was an accident outside the Farmer’s Boy earlier this month by the bus stop. Let’s hope something gets done before somebody gets killed.
