SIR – I find David Cameron’s idea to hold a referendum on Europe after the next election as empty a promise as Theresa May’s promise to scrap the Human Rights Act after the same election.
Their chances of winnings are very bleak at present.
But then what about Labour and Lib-Dems?
All three parties have histories littered with broken promises, unfulfilled election manifestos and policies hardly differing in any shape or form (despite shouting at each other like Hooray Henrys in Parliament).
Thinking voters are fed up.
The Green Party won a seat in the last parliamentary election, UKIP came a close second in the Eastleigh byelection and we had our first Green Party councillor elected in Worcester.
Greens and UKIP may differ a lot on policies but they dare to believe what they stand for and get there by hard slog, not via internships and patronage.I have heard more from my local Green council candidate in the last year than any incumbent.
Be free to express your vote and let us have a revolution in politics in Britain voting in councillors and MPs who actually like to represent our views. Time for a British Spring.
