SPECIAL MEMORIES: The Worcester and District Thursday Football League team in 1964.
SIR – This picture, above, is of the 1964 football team who represented the Worcester and District Thursday Football League.
I am in the back row, third from the right.I was not in the police force, but several of my team-mates and officials were policemen, including trainer Brian Hasted, back row, left, and honorary league secretary ‘Taffy’ Herbert, back row, right.
Other team members were John Ricketts, Clive Griffin, P Morgan, Roy Hobbs, A Dennis, T Price, D Morris, John Smith, T Green and B Sylvester.
