SIR – I thought Worcester News readers may be interested in this picture, above, taken in the early 1950s.
It is the Working Men’s Club skittles team, who were located in New Street, Worcester.
The players are: back row, from left, George Reynalds, Arthur Graves, Reg Hill. Ray Downton, Harry Cannon, Alf Wetherby, Ernie Hill; middle row, Tommy Francis, Fred Willis, Wally Kyte; front row, Alf Treherne Jm Beck and Roy Hill.
