SIR – we could not believe our eyes when we read the letter ‘This housing makes no sense’ (Worcester News, March 7).
We have lived in Bromwich Road in Worcester for 40 years and were appalled at the comments made by Tony Willmore about the smell from the sewage works.
How dare he suggest that developers would be putting families through the agony of terrible smells from the sewage works.
We get no smells from the sewage now.
Okay, we did when we moved here 40 years ago, but the amount of work that has been done over the years by the owners means that there is no smell.
Often people complain about a smell that comes from silage spread on fields at the farm. We strongly disagree with his comments.
