SIR – I was travelling down Tolladine Road in Worcester just behind a Midland Red bus the other day.
On coming to the bus stop adjacent to the Farmer’s Boy pub, it stopped to pick up passengers.
I then had to sit and wait until the passengers got on and the bus moved off.
There was nothing I could do to get past.
The council had placed a crossing in the middle of the road, so that when the bus stops it takes up most of the space thereby stopping traffic from getting past.
While waiting, I wondered if this was another of the council’s competitions to prevent Worcester traffic from moving.
Perhaps the Worcester News should hold a readers’ survey to find where the best sites are.
