SIR – I see the bankers have learnt nothing from their past greed.

They are still awarding themselves huge bonuses which aren’t justified.

Europe wanted to cap the bonuses.

David Cameron objected to it, so he has no intention of putting a squeeze on these bonuses.

The trouble is, it’s not their money and it’s so easy to award bonuses with other people’s money.

The Government should step in and outlaw all bonuses, especially when the banks suffer a loss.

The bosses of rail trade are another lot that should be looked at, awarding themselves a big bonus with other people’s money.

Also, the top people in local councils up and down the country who have awarded themselves huge salaries and massive perks.

There should be someone to put a stop to this greed.
